Jan Howarth  BA Hons, Dip HSEC, MAR Reflexology, Shiatsu                                        

Jan Howarth trained for 4 years with Sonia Moriceau at the Healing-Shiatsu Education Centre in Herefordshire completing her studies in 1991. She has since studied other shiatsu forms including Seiki Soho with Akinobu Kishi, a gentle and profound method which she has incorporated into her practice.

Jan trained in Reflexology with Vicki Pitman in 1996 and has since explored other forms which has expanded her knowledge of this effective therapy.

Many years before taking these courses she trained in massage, and this has influenced her practice in both these therapies.

She enjoys doing Chi Gung and Amerta Movement, a natural movement form.

She is also a painter, originally training in Fine Art and Art Therapy, and working as an art therapist in the Richmond Fellowship, and then as a theatre designer.
